Jeffrey Sean "Shoney" Williamson 53, of Algood, Tennessee went to be with his Savior April 20, 2019. He was surrounded by family at Cookeville Regional Medical Center, Cookeville, Tennessee after a battle with cancer.
Born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, he was the youngest son of Jean Cox Williamson and the late James David "JD" Williamson. "Shoney" is survived by his mother, Jean Cox Williamson, siblings: James Douglas Williamson, (Carol), Carolyn Aurelia Williamson Wallin, (Robert), Bobby Dwight Williamson, (Rita), Roy David Williamson, (Cindy), Richard Nelson Williamson, (Beth), Marilyn Annette Williamson Mayberry, (Mike), and a special niece, Kelley Wallin Canaday who was by his side when he needed her the most. He had 12 wonderful nieces and nephews, 10 Great nieces and nephews and 2 Great Great nieces. He will be dearly missed by his family.
Jeffrey graduated from Madison High School, Madison, Tennessee in 1985. He faced many challenges in his life as he was a paraplegic at age of 18, from a car accident. He worked for Nashville Water Dept for Parker Toler and later worked for Hartford Insurance Co. He enjoyed playing wheelchair basketball for several years, working on his computer and socializing and making many friends. Also, he had a passion for music and was a DJ at local establishments in Davidson Co. and Putnam Co. Tennessee. He was a former member of Jere Baxter Masonic Lodge no. 742 F&AM in Nashville, Tennessee.
