Obituary of Greg Edward Brooks

Greg Edward Brooks was born December 28, 1949 to Ed and Elizabeth Brooks in Terre Haute, Indiana. He briefly attended the University of Rhode Island and David Lipscomb University and served as a hospital corpsman in the navy from 1970-1974. He was honorably discharged from the reserves in 1976. In 1981, Greg helped found Hermitage Dental Lab, which still flourishes with 23 employees. He was a trustworthy and loyal provider for his wife and three children and saw his children graduate from college. He was very proud that one had attained Master’s credits and two had completed their Master’s degrees. His children and grandchildren brought him much satisfaction in life. Greg was a humble, loving man, a follower of Jesus and a true gentleman. His wisdom and love, sharp mind and quick wit, generosity and friendship will be greatly missed by his wife Naomi, his children, Isaac, Israel and Abby, his children’s spouses, Sarah Brooks, Denise Brooks and David Branson, his seven grandchildren, whom he loved greatly, and his loving sister Betsy Caldwell. On June 11, 2022, he was gathered to Heaven, where I am sure he was greeted by his father, his mother, his brother Jon, and the one he longed to see most of all, Jesus.
